Coming from Sydney, it was fantastic to have Old Boy Ross Wall (1959-1963) visit the College in early November. Ross was back in the country to catch up with close friend and fellow Old Boy Robert Gray.

Ross was a special student; he was a Prefect 1963, a Sports house captain, a team captain for Athletics, winner of 3 McEvedy Shield's and a member of the 1st XV.  In his final year at the College, Ross also ran an outstanding quarter mile race at a special Secondary Schools Athletics Event in the presence of Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh.

Ross took a look at how our Modernisation and Resilience Masterplan is progressing and during our walk around the campus, he spoke with key staff and commented on how it was great to see the development of the College and how it will ‘future proof’ us for many years to come.

Ross is looking at “maybe” attending the 100th running of the McEvedy Shield in March 2023.
