Cross Country Relay Champs

Congratulations to our senior team for winning the U19 race at the College Sport Wellington Cross Country Relays at Wakefield Park yesterday. Our team comprised Year 11 Bernard Stallard, Year 12’s Connor Kemp and Jaguun Gunregjav-Willers and Year 13 Wilson Li.

Runners ran a lap (2km) before passing the baton to a team-mate.

Jag ran our final lap and crossed the line 30sec ahead of Wellington College A.

Our winning overall time was 24min 21sec .

Wellington College B were third in 25mins 56sec and Stream fourth in 27min 17sec.

Connor Kemp ran the day's third fastest lap in 5min 52sec.

We had five other teams competing yesterday and they finished in the following placings - U16 5^th, U19 B 8^th, U19 C 11^th, U19 D 12^th and Year 9 11^th.
