Pasifika Parents Association

Talofa lava, Kia Orana, Malo E lelei, Fakalofa Lahi Atu, Ni Sa Bula Vinaka and Warm Pasifika Greetings

The St Patrick’s College Pasifika Parents Association is a group of parents that do the MAHI to actively support the needs of our Pasifika students during their journey here at the College. To achieve this, we align, collaborate and assist our wonderful staff with providing our sons the best education and opportunities possible.

The Association works hard to organise and deliver initiatives that assist our sons’ academic and cultural needs. Culturally, we support the Multicultural Club and Pasifika Group to ensure all participants and performers are successful. We are looking to support the increase in exposure of key initiatives such as Pacific Language weeks within the College. Academically, we deliver Home School Partnership Programmes through Terms 1, 2 and 3 which are programmes/ initiatives/events designed to increase knowledge and experience for students, parents and families concurrently. The Association also aims to be active participants within the College community and events whether it be social or sporting.

Our hope is that our sons recognise the importance of staying connected as a family, both in the home and at school. As members of the Pasifika Parents Association we commit our time, energy and resources along with the teachers to make the boys time here not only a memorable one, but one where they are nurtured and educated into fine young men of St Patrick's.

We meet once a month which is advertised via the Weekly College Update. To join and be added to Association mailing list, please email [email protected] OR complete the following Google form https://forms.gle/Hobq3NzWETczTbiF8

We invite all Pasifika parents, students and families to come and see what we are all about.

God bless & Sectare fidem
