Parent Weekly Update 6 April

Dear Parents and Caregivers

PROGRESS CONFERENCES FOR YEARS 9-12: A reminder to all parents and caregivers of the Progress Conferences happening this coming Wednesday, 11 April. These appointments run from 12 noon and finish at 7 pm. Your son will be able to take you to his tutor room for the interview and there will be a list of locations for non-tutor teachers displayed on a whiteboard in the office. You will have received an email explaining the Progress Conferences and how to book these online through the College website. Note bookings can be made, or changed up until 11 am on the Wednesday, but we would strongly encourage you to book as soon as possible, as some appointment times are inevitably more popular than other times.
Please note that both Ms Southall and Ms Gilmour will be unavailable on the day. Those appointments will be allocated to other staff. If your son has one of those 2 teachers you will need to come to the College Office first to check which room your interview will be in. A whiteboard with this information will be in the Office foyer, or you can ask one of the Office staff. Ms Kendall-Elder will also be unavailable after 5 pm, so parents of students in WKE should also check at the Office.
There are no classes on this day so it is really important that you and your son take this opportunity to have this meeting. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the College Office.

PROGRESS REPORTS: These will be available via the Parent Portal, accessed through the College website from Monday evening. You are strongly encouraged to read this prior to the Progress Conference on the Wednesday and if possible have a printed copy of this with you on the day.
